Huawei officially introduces its newest flagship, Huawei Mate 8. The Mate 8 is the successor of Mate 7 and is one of the first
smartphones that bring Android 6.0 Marshmallow after the Nexus devices.
The specification of Huawei Mate 8 is the combination of
Mate S and Mate 7, but with 4.000mAh battery that's certainly more powerful. On
the outside, this smartphone still uses 6-inch screen as its predecessor. While
inside, there is Kirin 950 chipset that's made by Huawei itself. As a reminder,
this chipset is the most advanced type that had been announced several weeks
ago in Beijing.
This chipset consists of a CPU with four 2.3 GHz cores and
four 1.8 GHz cores, as well as a Mali T880MP4 900 MHz GPU. In operation, the
chipset is presenting performance and efficiency at the best level than the
previous chipsets.
Huawei Mate 8 is packing a 16MP main camera as owned by
Nexus 6P. While at the front, Huawei is pinning 8MP camera. A number of
advanced photography features are also included in this smartphone.
Huawei offers multiple configurations to be chosen by
consumers, ranging from 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory, and 4GB RAM with two
memory options i.e. 64GB and 128GB.
Huawei Mate 8 is offered at prices starting from $ 469, the
device is available in some color options: gold, silver, grey and mocha brown.
This smartphone will be released globally after the CES in January 2016.
