OnePlus 3 arrives with a new design that brings a number of
differences compared to its predecessor. Although in overall the front part of
both still gives the same aura. In the front part there is a protective layer
of Gorilla Glass 4 that's lining the 5.5-inch screen, a fingerprint sensor and
a speaker at the bottom which is side by side with a USB type C port. The outer
part of this device is wrapped by aluminum unibody material that gives the
impression of neat, sturdy and luxurious with Graphite and soft gold color
options.
OnePlus 3 is orchestrated by Snapdragon 820 processor as
used by the majority of flagship smartphones today. The Snapdragon 820 is
paired with 6GB RAM which becomes the largest RAM capacity at this time. There
is also Adreno 530 graphics card and 64GB of internal memory which
unfortunately can't be expanded with external memory.
OnePlus promises an improvement for the camera module in
this flagship device. There is a new feature called Smart Capture which
consists of several technologies including HD mode, auto HDR and Dynamic
De-noise. The camera is also claimed to have an optical and an electric
stabilization to adjust the conditions.
OnePlus 3's main camera uses Sony IMX 298 sensor module at a
resolution of 16MP. The camera is armed with some features such as OIS, EIS,
PDAF, aperture f / 2.0, support for 4K video, slow motion at 720p and certainly
support RAW format images. Meanwhile the front camera uses Sony IMX179 sensor
at a resolution of 8MP. This front camera is accompanied by EIS technology,
autofocus, aperture f / 2.0, 1080ps video support, and Smile Capture to capture
selfie pose.
Sustained by 3,000mAh battery, OnePlus 3 also comes with
support of Dash Charge technology that works as well as Oppo's VOOC technology.
OnePlus claims that the battery can be charged up to 63% in just 30 minutes.
But talk about efficiency, OnePlus 3 has a chipset that's designed for it, and
the presence of OxygenOS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which will help to
achieve optimal efficiency.
OnePlus 3 will be priced at $ 399. This price is very
interesting considering that the specifications of OnePlus 3 deserve to be
aligned with high end smartphones in the market today. OnePlus 3 doesn't have
to be purchased by invitation scheme, so buyers don't need to wait too long to
get this cool smartphone.
