Sticky note or Post-it so far has
been used as a tool to remind us about important things to do. Starting from
small memo, schedule, and also shopping list, all of them are written on a
sticky note that's commonly affixed to refrigerator, desk, and so forth.
However sticky note is still a
paper that will be thrown away after used. In this digital era, we need a
dynamic thing. That's why a device named SeeNote is trying to attract the
attention of users. SeeNote can be considered as a digital version of Post-it.
This is a device with 4.2 inch e-paper touchscreen. The screen is very sharp,
it's capable of displaying content in a resolution of 300 dpi, and still looks
bright and clear even if exposed by the sun.
SeeNote comes with a magnetic
mount. Attach the mount in the fridge, and then you can install or remove the
SeeNote whenever you want. When installed, it will display a variety of
content, such as weather forecasts, reminder, agenda or memo from somebody.
But don't forget that the screen is a touchscreen, which
means users can mark the reminder once it's completed, and the results will
also be synchronized with your smartphone. SeeNote could also be used to
control the smart home devices, such as turn on/off the smart lights.
When there is a notification, the edge of SeeNote will light
in certain colors. Users can set what content will be presented through a
companion application on the smartphone. The battery can last for a month
before needing to be recharged. The Pre-order of SeeNote has been opened with a
price of $99, thereafter the price will raise to $129.
