What has been done by Tesla Motors in the last few years could give some idea about the cars in the future. Simply put, there are two criteria of the cars in the future: electric engine and automatic steering capability. If two of these criteria have been met, manufacturers only need to add an extra touch to make the cars more unique than the other competitors.

Rolls-Royce, the British luxury car manufacturer recently introduces the Rolls-Royce 103EX, the realization of its vision of a luxury car in the future. Through this concept car, Rolls-Royce wants to redefine the luxury standard for the next 100 years.

Viewed from any angle, the exterior of 103EX is still maintaining the distinctive elements that have been carried by Rolls-Royce since the beginning of its work in the automotive industry. Futuristic face is a must, but at the same time still maintains the characteristics of the brand itself.

Rolls-Royce 103EX has a unique interior; its dashboard is not equipped with a steering wheel at all because this car is designed to be able to drive by itself in order to meet the criteria of sophisticated car in the future.

The car's owners will be pampered on the seat that looks very comfortable just like a sofa in an upscale lounge. It is wrapped in silk and contains soft wool, so arguably this is the softest car seat ever. The luxurious feel in the cabin is reinforced by the presence of woolen carpet and original wood paneling along the door.

The absence of the steering wheel not only makes the cabin feel more spacious, but also allows the placement of wide OLED display panel along the dashboard. This screen will display the relevant information along the way, or it could also present your favorite shows, guided by artificial intelligence system named "Eleanor".

Compared to the BMW Vision Next 100 which is still in the same holding company, Rolls-Royce 103EX seems much more 'daring' because the cabin is not equipped with the steering wheel at all. Apart from that, this Rolls-Royce concept car explains that the luxury car in the future is essentially a running lounge - it's able of spoiling the passengers in a digital chamber while travelling.
