May is a busy month for Xiaomi. This Chinese manufacturer
announced a series of new devices, ranging from Mi Max, Mi Band new version,
Xiaomi Yi 2 and also smartwatch for children. However Xiaomi doesn't feel
enough with it, on next 25 May, Xiaomi will show off its first drone.
The above image is an official teaser that has been released
by Xiaomi, there is no detail of specification given, but it is certain that
the product in the picture is a drone. Quadcopter or not, one thing for sure is
the device is ready to fly and capture the moment from the air.
So what's the proper name for this drone? Well, if referring
from the title of the thread on the MIUI forum, it looks like the device will
be called Mi Drone. And if you see the current trends, almost certainly this
drone has been equipped with semi-automatic flight feature.
Apart from that, the Xiaomi's drone obviously can't be
underestimated. China is arguably the king of drones thanks to the names like
DJI or Yuneec, and apparently Xiaomi will also strengthen this title.
