The rapid development of the competitive gaming industry
from year to year and the huge public interests toward gaming became the reasons
behind the birth of esport. And now esport can be synchronized with the real
sports thanks to the launching of the official portal ESPN Esport.
In addition to ESPN, Yahoo didn't want to miss this opportunity;
in last March Yahoo announced its own news portal called Yahoo Esports. The
site was created to allow the game lovers to follow the development of popular
games competition such as the League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter Strike: Global
Offensive, Heroes of the Storm and Street Fighter V.
One month later, Yahoo is ready to bring its official esport
portal to mobile realm, starting with Android. Yup, Yahoo Esports is now
available in the form of Android application that can be obtained for free on
Google Play.
This application presents a number of interesting
information for the esport fans, especially the game schedules where the users
can set a reminder in order not to miss any game match. The videos are presented
in 1080p resolution, either for the previous game recording or for live
recording.
The complete statistics of a game can also be monitored via
Yahoo Esports application, as well as an interesting discussion about the match
which is formulated by a special editorial team. The iOS version is reportedly
will soon follow in the near future.
