In December, Google launched the Reminder feature that has
been awaited by many users of Google Calendar service. And starting this week,
the same feature has finally been available in the web version of Google
Calendar.
This means that now every time you create a reminder in
applications such as Inbox by Gmail, Google Keep, Google Now or Google Calendar
itself, the entry will automatically appear on the web version. Instead, the
reminder that you create on the web will also appear in the mobile version.
Reminder works in a different way from the Event feature,
where it will be displayed at the top until you get it done. You may move it to
another date, but as long as you haven't finished the task, the reminder will
still appear in the next day and so on.
To create a reminder on the web is exactly the same just
like when you make an Event. Click on the desired date and time on the table, and
then select the "Reminder" option at the top of the new window that
appears.
The presence of Reminder feature on the web version of
Google Calendar will increase the productivity of users. The synchronization
between the mobile and the web version also means you can access the Reminder
from any device and anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.
