Majority of mobile devices manufacturers tend to create
smartphones with wider screen from time to time. If there is a big brand that's
trying to fight the trend, it's Apple that some time ago released the iPhone
SE, the smartphone from iPhone generation, but with screen size that's much
smaller than the previous series.
But recently there is an Android smartphone called Posh
Mobile Micro X S240 which is claimed as the world's smallest Android
smartphone. This unique smartphone has a small body with 2.4 inch screen, or
half of Nubia Z11 Mini which's recently launched.
This Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone only has a
dimension of 89 x 47 x 11.6 mm and weighs 52 grams, it's approximately the same
height as a credit card. Its tiny size makes it ideal as a backup smartphone
that's easy to carry anywhere.
Posh Mobile Micro X S240 has 4GB of internal memory, 512MB
of RAM and a dual core processor from MediaTek MT 6572M. Luckily the
manufacturer also provides a microSD slot that can accommodate up to 32GB of
additional memory. This tiny smartphone brings 2MP rear camera and VGA front
camera. The main camera even supports face detection, focus, and zoom features.
The rest, this smartphone almost has all the features of
general smartphones in the market, such as support for MP3, MPEG4, FM radio,
3.5 mm earphones, Games, Alarm, Calculator, E-book, Voice Record, Video Player,
Video Record, WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, GPS, and USB Disk.
Furthermore, Posh Mobile Micro X S240 also provides a fairly
complete connection such as Bluetooth, WiFi, and a SIM card slot that supports
4G HSPDA+ network. Currently, Posh Mobile Micro X S240 has been offered through
Amazon.com.
