Initially it's only intended as a visual bookmarking tool,
but now Pinterest has grown into a social network with over 100 million users.
After launching a new feature called 'How To Pin', now the Pinterest app gets
major update.
The new look of Pinterest app
itself is not changed too much, but now it looks more modern, with a focus on
each Pin than all other elements. The Pinterest app now also supports a total
of 31 languages, including those that don't use standard alphabet, such as
Kanji or Cyrillic.
Although at first glance it looks
the same, but Pinterest claims that its team has done a fundamental overhaul.
Therefore, the performance of this new version is much more responsive and
smooth, including in the device that's quite old.
When the application is opened, the
contents will appear three times faster than before and the scrolling is much
smoother.
So far the new version of Pinterest
will be rolling gradually for the iOS devices users. And the next few months,
the users of Android devices and web will get similar update.
