Google launches 'Save to Google' extension for Chrome

Google launches Save to Google extension

Google has recently launched a new feature for the Chrome browser users. Named "Save to Google", this is an official extension that serves to save the interesting contents on the internet, in the forms of pictures, videos, articles, and so forth.

This extension is basically will become a complement to the Bookmarks feature. All contents that are stored by using the Save to Google can be accessed by visiting google.com/save.

From there, the users can sort the stored contents based on the tags for easy access at a later time. When the extension button is pressed, users can also directly add tags, and the contents will be automatically collected into related tags - it's almost the same with folder.

This feature can also be considered as an alternative solution of Google towards similar services such as Pocket or Instapaper. Pocket, as we know, also has an extension for Chrome.

The Save to Google extension is now available in the Chrome Web Store. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and of course Chrome OS.
