travel blogging activity. Although still in beta system, the application called
Polarsteps offers a pretty attractive idea with the automation concept of
travel blogging.
The premise is simple, you are only asked to provide your
travel itinerary, and then Polarsteps will take care of the rest. It will check
your location from time to time via GPS, and publish the track record that can
be monitored by colleagues or family on the web.
A travel blog certainly won't be complete without photos.
Therefore, Polarsteps will gather the photos you take based on its location.
Everything will be published into an attractive journal with a complete
information summary.
Interestingly, Polarsteps doesn't require the users to stay
connected with the internet connection. This is important because Internet
access is not always there when you're traveling. During offline, the
application will work in full by using GPS. Then when you are arriving at the
hotel and connected to Wi-Fi, the collected data will be published.
Currently Polarsteps has been available for iOS devices,
including the Apple Watch. Its Android version will be released in the next
summer.
