Perhaps the name of Chuwi is still unfamiliar in the gadgets
world, but lately this Chinese company got a lot of attention with the release
of its cheap Windows 10 tablet. And recently, Chuwi has just released the Chuwi
HiBook, a 2-in-1 tablet with Microsoft Surface style that comes with a
removable keyboard.
Behind the aluminum body which is only 8.7 mm thick and
weighing 550 grams, there is 1,84 GHz quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 processor,
4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Chuwi also pins a pair of cameras: 5
megapixels in the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front.
Interestingly, Chuwi can run Windows 10 or Android 5.1,
where the user can select at the beginning of turning on the device.
Practically, when you use it in tablet mode, you can select the Android OS, and
then when you want to be more productive, you can choose the Windows 10 OS and
plug the keyboard.
All of this is displayed on a 10.1-inch screen resolution of
1920 x 1200 pixels. HiBook also brings 6600 mAh battery, and the connectivity
is quite complete, including a USB-C port, micro HDMI, micro USB and microSD
slot for memory expansion.
But the best part is its price, this device is planned to be
launched in April for $ 239. Unfortunately there is no information about the
countries that will become the target market of Chuwi HiBook.
