MSI reveals a new gaming notebook: Special Edition Heroes of the Storm

Special Edition Heroes of the Storm

The collaboration between Micro-Star International with the legendary game developer Blizzard Entertainment has been recognized since the announcement of the Masters Gaming Arena as the successor of Beat It, and it's confirmed in the Gaming Night event. But so far their collaboration only can be seen in the form of event, and hasn't given much effect to the product presentation of both companies.

Heroes of the Storm is the answer of Blizzard over the popularity of MOBA games such as Dota 2 and League of Legends. Masters Gaming Arena is one of their efforts to lift the HotS to be esport title.  The seriousness of collaboration between the MSI and the Warcraft creator is enhanced through the introduction of the gaming notebook: Special Edition Heroes of the Storm.

The laptop is the first product in the market which does co-branding with the Heroes of the Storm. MSI promises to provide satisfying contents bundle, including special edition of peripherals. MSI feels very proud because this move marks a recognition and recommendation from Blizzard. And don't be surprised if there will be similar cooperative programs in the future.

No less than ten models of laptops in three tiers get the 'Heroes' edition upgrade: GT80, GT72 and GE62. They are GT72S 6QF Dominator Pro G, GT80S 6QD Titan SLI, GT80S 6QE Titan SLI, GT80S 6QF Titan SLI, GT72S 6QE Dominator Pro G, GT72S 6QD Dominator G, GT72 6QE Dominator Pro G, GT72 6QD Dominator G, GE62 6QD Apache Pro and GE62 6QF Apache Pro. The differences in the codes are referring to the graphics cards (from the GeForce GTX 960M to SLI GTX 980) and G-Sync features.

Special Edition Heroes of the Storm

In the GT variant, illustration on the back side of the screen is almost the same: show the characters in the Blizzard's game world that are presented in HotS in the form of a combination of black and white. MSI seems freely to attach the character images of Arthas, Sylvanas, Nova, Zagara, Diablo and Jim Raynor in the cover of GT80's hardware components. For GT72 itself, there are Sylvanas and Diablo cover the touchpad and palm rest.

G-Series Gaming Heroes edition is also offered for the more economical type, i.e. GE62. Its appearance is quite contrast from the eight other models. On the rear panel, the Lich King looks dueling with Jim Raynor, and the illustrations fill the entire interior design - not just in the hands placemat. Three levels of products offer different bonus contents; contain exclusive skin coupons.
