Live streaming is an application category that's being
developed by many application developers today. One of the live streaming
developers that have managed to attract the attention of many internet users is
Periscope.
To maintain its achievements, Periscope which is developed
by Twitter has just launched the latest update for its application. The new
features that are presented in this update are the rewind and fast-forward features
when watching the broadcast. The users can tap the video and hold for a few
seconds, and then the video clip will shrink into a mini version. From there
the users can drag the control bar to rewind or fast-forward. Not just mobile,
the web version users can also enjoy the similar features.
For now these features will only be launched for the Android
platform, but the developer promises will bring them to iOS platform starting
next week.
These additions would be good news for Periscope users who
don't always have much time to see the entire video content. Now they have full
control to choose which part they want to watch.
This update will complete the previous additions after in
last September Periscope had added profile feature on the web platform, and a
few days before it also launched landscape support and a number of bugs fixes.
