Only a matter of weeks since Snapchat announced the latest
update in the form of some new features such as Lenses, Trophies and Extra
Replay. Recently, this instant video application launches a set of new feature
called Speed Modifier.
Speed Modifier is basically a video filter that allows users
to tether three capabilities: slow motion, fast-forward and rewind, to the
video that's sent through the Snapchat.
Its application is not complicated; users can simply swipe
to the side after recording the video to display the filter that will be
embedded into the Snap. Thus, now you can make more new things other than
making rainbow puke.
As a reminder, previously Snapchat had released a number of
features which were designed to make people more comfortable using the
application and watching more contents on it. Call it text addition and
drawings, light filters and overlay options, speed and even temperature.
Snapchat also launched geofilter based on location, and buttons to adjust the
size and position of emoji in Snap.
In addition to the Speed Modifier, Snapchat also adds the
support for 3D Touch for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. That means, Snapchat
users can use the features in the application in different ways, for example a
quick chat, send Snap or add a friend.
And interestingly Speed Modifier feature doesn't require
users to spend money just like the replay Snap feature. This feature can be
used for free and available to all users.
