Samsung officially introduces the Galaxy View tablet which
is claimed as the biggest Android tablet ever made. Runs with Android 5.1
Lollipop operating system, Galaxy View offers 18.4-inch screen with a
resolution of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Although it's quite large, but Galaxy View has a fairly
light weight, only 2,65kg with total dimension of 275.8 x 451.8 x 11.9mm.
Samsung explains that the tablet is designed to provide a
better multimedia experience through a super wide screen, and the high quality
4W dual stereo speakers also give more value when the tablet is used to watch
videos, play games or do video calls. Samsung also provides integration to
video services such as Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, YouTube and Twitch.
To sustain its performance, Samsung embeds 5.700mAh battery
which is claimed can support the device when playing video for 8 hours
non-stop.
Galaxy View is supported by octa-core processor speed of 1.6
GHz, accompanied by 2GB RAM and memory options of 32GB to 64GB. The 2.1MP front
camera is also included for the video calls purpose through 4G LTE network
which is also well-supported by the device.
Unfortunately there has been no official statement from
Samsung related to the pricing and availability of the Galaxy View.
