Razer BlackWidow is one of the best-selling mechanical
gaming keyboards on the market today, and now Razer is ready to attract the
consumers with a new keyboard called Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016.
Razer claims that it has designed this keyboard from zero,
rather than revises the previous version. The size is now a bit more compact
than 2015 version. However, it still packs an anti-stain layer, a pair of
headphone and microphone jacks, as well as pass-through USB port to help the
user to tidy up the cable on the gaming media.
About the performance, Razer once again relies on its own mechanical
switch. this switch is claimed to be "the only one that is designed
specifically for gaming", offering 50 grams actuation level and is
believed can hold up to 60 million taps. Confident with the resilience of
BlackWidow Ultimate 2016, Razer will include a 2-year warranty on every purchase.
BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 apparently also borrows the
backlighting technology that's carried by Razer's Chroma line. The Backlight
color is only one, but it can be lit with various dynamic effects. One of the
most interesting is the reactive effect, in which the backlight will turn on
every time you press the keys.
Razer offers a number of backlight effects presets through
Razer Synapse software, but users can also create their own backlight patterns.
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 will be marketed in Asia by the end of this
year. The price is offered at $ 110.
