Microsoft releases Parchi

Microsoft Garage makes a new notes application that's intended for Android devices. Named Parchi, this lightweight notes application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store but is not yet available for all countries. Parchi is taken from Hindi language which means a piece of paper to make notes.

Parchi is a lighter notes application that doesn't require huge CPU resource when running. The file size is only 3,6MB and has intuitive features, and the interface is very easy to use. It is designed in order to work fast, lightweight, smooth on all devices, including in the low spec devices.

Parchi offers notes tool that can be used directly from the lockscreen. Users can select the type of notes they want, whether in the form of text, lists or images. For important notes, there is a reminder panel that can be activated at any time, alongside the Pin option that will pin the notes to the lockscreen so users can see the notes at any time.

When you have created a lot of notes, you can still find them easily when you want to read the notes again. The developer has added a search feature through tags, text or other filter criteria. Or if you want to share the notes, there is a sharing feature that can be done through WhatsApp, e-mail, SMS and other third party applications.

Parchi also supports division feature based on group by applying color or mark it as favorites. Then there's the backup feature and smart action for each type of notes. For example if the notes are in the forms of cellphone numbers, the application will offer the options to call or save into contact. If the notes are in the forms of links or emails, the application will offer the option to save, copy, or compose a new email.
