Parrot Zik 3 comes with wireless charging and adaptive noise cancelling

Perhaps Parrot was better known as drone manufacturer, but this French brand also produced Parrot Zik which got a lot of praises from the audio devices fans. These wireless headphones were not only cool and comfortable to wear, but also offered a capacitive touch control which was considered unique at that time.

Quite successful with the Parrot Zik, Parrot then presented a more compact size successor, Parrot Zik 2.0, in September 2014. And now, about a year later, Parrot introduces the third generation of its flagship headphones, Parrot Zik 3, in IFA 2015.

Parrot Zik 3 brings more design revisions. Although in general its appearance doesn't change too much from the Parrot Zik 2.0, but the headband of Zik 3 is now thicker in order to provide more comfort to the users. It looks trendier now due to three textures choices, including one which has crocodile patterned leather.

Parrot Zik 3 still retains all the goodness of its predecessors, such as capacitive panel on the right earpad, where user can set the music and volume simply by rubbing his finger. It's still equipped with an accelerometer so that the music will pause automatically when you remove it from the head; and when you put it back to the head, the music will be played again.

The connectivity is still relying on Bluetooth, but for additional connectivity feature, now Parrot has added the NFC chip. At the same time, Zik 3 also supports the Qi wireless charging technology, making it a truly wireless in all aspects. The battery itself can last up to 18 hours nonstop and is removable.

Zik 3 can now play music via USB, so you can still enjoy the music while the headphones are being charged. Parrot also enhances its noise canceling technology, which Zik 3 can now adapt to the sound around automatically.

Furthermore, to keep up with the trend and provide a solution for users who don't like to use the capacitive touch control, Parrot brings smartwatch compatibility to its headphones. In other words, users can now control the Zik 3 through smartwatch, either Android Wear or Apple Watch.
