Everyone must know about Instagram, but not all have heard
about the Hipstamatic. It is one of the first applications for the iPhone that
offers retro photographic effects. Now, in order to welcome the presence of
iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, and also approaching its sixth birthday, Hipstamatic
launches a massive update for its service.
The biggest update in the Hipstamatic 300 version is the support
for the 12-megapixel camera resolution of iPhone 6S, where all the effects
given will appear in full resolution. Hipstamatic is also moving quickly by
taking advantage of the 3D Touch feature of iPhone 6S.
The 3D Touch feature provides various functions for
Hipstamatic. First, you can edit the latest photos in Camera Roll with just one
tap on the home screen. Second, you can view a larger version of a thumbnail
photos by 'tapping' screen (peek), then press harder (pop) to directly enter
the editing mode.
Along with features that maximize the benefits of iPhone 6S,
Hipstamatic 300 also carries a feature called ProMode, which is actually the
manual control over all camera parameters, ranging from the focus, shutter
speed, white balance to the ISO level. Users now also can take pictures in
other shapes other than a square - similar step which was taken by Instagram
recently.
The Editing mode is also enhanced with Darkroom Suite
feature, where users will be faced with more than 20 tools and 12 presets to
make adjustments. The additional effects can be purchased separately through
HipstaMart. At the same time, users can still use Hipstamatic in classic mode
that's simple and easy to understand.
Lastly is the Sharing feature to multiple services like
Instagram, Oggl, Flickr and others. Interestingly, here users can monitor the
statistics - how many like as well as comments received - of any photos shared
via Hipstamatic. Thus, you can know what kind of photos favored by the
followers.
Hipstamatic 300 version can be downloaded for free (for a
limited time) through the App Store.
