Xiaomi, Oppo, and OnePlus are just few examples of new
companies that have successfully competed in mobile realm, and now they manage
to stand in a comfort zone.
Now there is one more new startup called Qiku which is a
joint venture of Internet security company, Qihoo 360, and a senior company,
Coolpad.
In this year, Qiku starts its debut and introduces three
flagship products from different classes. But at this time we will discuss the
highest class, Q Terra.
Q Terra gives luxury impression with the use of
aluminum-magnesium alloy body as a material which binds the 6-inch screen that
has been protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The visual quality relies on the
2,5D Sharp technology with Quad HD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) and a
density of 490 ppi.
Q Terra runs with Snapdragon 810 chipset which is the latest
version of Qualcomm and has been used by a number of vendors such as HTC One M9
and OnePlus 2. This chipset is combined with Adreno 430 GPU that's accompanied
by 4GB RAM.
To overcome the possibility of excess heat that's generated
by Snapdragon 810, Qiku has anticipated it by creating a special design in the
assembling process; and this design is claimed can solve this problem.
The most interesting feature of Q Terra is its dual camera
feature. Q Terra brings two 13MP cameras on the back. And then there is also
8MP front camera to accommodate various needs.
Q Terra runs its own operating system, the 360 OS based on
Android 5.1 Lollipop, then a 3.600mAh battery and additional audio chip to
produce high-quality sound.
But the most important thing is of course its price. With
such of excellent specification, the Qiku Q Terra will be released for only $
562. Other good news is, this smartphone is not only released in China, but
also to other countries such as India, Indonesia, Russia, Turkey and Brazil.
