In a time when other mobile vendors have abandoned the
feature phones, Microsoft is still struggling with these old school cell phones.
Continue the legacy of classic Nokia, Microsoft is officially presenting the
Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM.
Nevertheless, Microsoft is pretty good at seeing the
weakness of the feature phones. Microsoft provides internet support to these
classic cell phones so that users can still access various social media
services, instant messaging, and internet browsing via Opera Mini application
that has been installed from the first day.
Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM offer small screen of 2.4
inch with a weight of only 79 grams, makes the devices are easily brought
anywhere in a variety of activities. The operating system used is Nokia Series
30 +, and a 2MP camera has been pinned to facilitate the users in taking
photos.
The photos can be shared through GroupMe by Skype, Facebook,
Messenger and Twitter that have been available pre-installed. The photos can
also be stored in external memory with a capacity of up to 32GB microSD.
Indeed the feature phones don't have a lot of sophisticated
features just like the smartphones in general, but about the battery life,
these classic phones are more superior. Only with 1.100mAh battery, the Nokia
222 can last up to 29 days, and 21 days for the Nokia 222 Dual SIM. The
speaking time is quite long, up to 20 hours in a single recharge.
Starting next month, Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM will
be released into global market with a price of $ 37.
