Developer behind Snapchat recently has released several
updates for their application. One of the most significant and eagerly awaited
changes is a new capability where users can switch from the front to the back
camera or vice versa while recording video.
Before the update was released, when recording video with
Snapchat, users must choose one of the two existing cameras. Whether the rear
camera or front camera. Once the choice was made, users couldn't change the
camera during recording. Now the Snapchat users can say goodbye to this old
habit.
To be able to use this new feature, users only need to do
double tap on the screen while recording. The application will automatically
switch the camera that's used to record the precious moment.
Along with the camera switching feature above, Snapchat also
presents two-step authentication feature to avoid account hijacking by other
parties.
This new security procedure will send short message which
consist of verification code when users want to login. But if it is considered
too complicated, the users can disable this feature through the settings panel.
In addition, the developer also add Battery Filter feature
which is quite useful to display the battery status of the device.
The Snapchat update is launched for Android and iOS
platforms, if you haven’t used this application, you can get it in the Google Play Store or the App Store.
