Around mid-2013, a renowned audio manufacturer from the
United States, Bose, introduced SoundLink Mini, a small Bluetooth speaker with
powerful voice. Two years later, its successor was born.
From the outside, the Bose SoundLink Mini II looks pretty
much identical to its predecessor. Its dimension is still the same, 51 x 180 x
59 mm, weight of 680 grams; it's still compact and very portable. The framework
that's made of anodized aluminum is still maintained, as well as the grille
that's made of steel. In short, this speaker still looks premium. Sound-producing component is still the same,
and the sound quality is guaranteed as good as its predecessor, with the clear
sound reproduction and solid bass boom.
However, Bose has added a speakerphone component so that the
users can use SoundLink Mini II to receive/make phone calls simply by pressing
a single button on the upper surface. When the call is finished, the music will
be humming again automatically.
The speakerphone additional component may seem very simple,
but it makes the SoundLink Mini II will be more attractive for consumers who
love listening to music while sitting at his desk.
Two devices can be connected simultaneously via Bluetooth,
and the SoundLink Mini II can remember eight devices that have ever been paired
with it. About battery life, SoundLink Mini II can operate up to 10 hours
non-stop, over 3 hours than its predecessor. Charging can be done via a USB
connection.
Bose SoundLink Mini II will be marketed from mid-June 2015,
with the price of $ 200. There are two colors available: Carbon and Pearl. At
the same time, Bose also offers soft case for their mini speakers in a variety
of colors, which is sold separately for $ 25.
