The vendor which is based in America, BLU Products, realizes
what they had promised at CES 2015 by launching the Blu Life One (2015 Edition). In addition, they also release a new variant named Blu Life 8 XL.
Blu Life One has a 5-inch wide screen, packed with IPS
technology which can display 16 million colors and a resolution of 720 x 1280
pixels with a pixel density of 294ppi. External specification that's not much
different from other middle class smartphones.
But Blu claims that this product gives a different flavor
when gripped. The main body is designed with a combination of natural elements
of stone and solid metal material. It shows luxury and solidity in the same
time.
Inside the device, Blu Life One is equipped by 410
Snapdragon chipset that brings 64-bit processor architecture, 1.2 GHz quad-core
that's combined with 1GB RAM and Mali-450 graphics processor.
Moving into the camera components, Blu Life One brings 13MP
primary camera and 5MP secondary camera, it is good enough especially with the
LED flash and the ability to record 1080p 30fps video. At this time this device
still uses Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but Blue promises the upgrade to Android 5.0
Lollipop. Fortunately there is support for 4G LTE so that when the update has
been available, the internet connection won't become a problem.
OK, now we move to Blu Life 8 XL, this variant brings wider
screen, 5.5 inch, with IPS technology and a resolution of 720p. Blu Life 8 XL
is equipped with different components from the first variant; this device
brings MediaTek MT6592M chipset which packs octa-core Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB
RAM and Mali-450 GPU.
Blu Life 8 XL carries an 8MP main camera, plus a 2MP front
camera. The device supports dual SIM feature, but unfortunately there is no 4G
LTE technology. So if users want to perform an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop,
they need a stable WiFi network.
