Located at Computex 2015 event that's held in their
hometown, Acer officially introduces three new variants of their smartband
line, Acer Liquid Leap. Acer was recently announced the presence of Liquid
Leap+, at the MWC 2015, but this time Acer intends to target specific
consumers.
The first variant is Liquid Leap Active, it's described as a
wearable device for the 'socially active young generation'. Certainly this
smartband is intended for young people, as seen from its three interchangeable
bands that have bright colors or the patterned camouflage bands.
This smartband not only serves to forward notifications from
smartphones, or control the music that's being played, but it also monitors the
users' physical activities and their sleep patterns.
The second variant named Liquid Leap Fit. From the name we
can recognize that this smartband is specifically targeting consumers who are
motivated to live a healthy life style. this smartband comes in three removable
bands with 'maturer' colors: gold, silver and black.
In addition to monitoring physical activities and sleep
patterns just like Liquid Leap Active variant, the Liquid Leap Fit also brings
heart-rate monitor and is able to detect the stress level. This smartband is
waterproof with IPX7 certification, and the battery is claimed to last up to 5
days in a single charge.
The last variant is Liquid Leap Curve. This variant is
basically exactly the same as the Liquid Leap Fit, except the screen part; it
brings curved 1.4 inch screen. Thus, it can be said that the Liquid Leap Curve
is intended for users who are very concerned about the health, but at the same
time still want to look stylish in public.
