If you have an Android device, chances are you also have a
Google account. Google account has many functions such as to make an email,
purchase apps, rent a movie, for synchronizing contacts, data backup, and much
more. However, Google recently adds an interesting function, i.e. to find a
cell phone.
Yup, as long as you log in using your Google account on your
device's browser, you can search your cell phone from anywhere as long as there
is an internet connection. This feature can be enjoyed by users of Android and
iOS devices, but the features are certainly much more complete in Android.
So if you lost your cell phone, you can directly open a
browser on a laptop or a friend's phone and sign in using your Google account.
From there you can visit My Account and choose "Find your phone".
The next page will display a list of all devices you have
connected with your Google account. Choose the one that's about to be searched,
it will display a number of options such as to make the phone rings, lock your
phone with a new password, and delete all its contents when the condition is no
longer possible for you to find it.
This feature can be enjoyed by accessing the My Account in
the browser. In the near future, users can even access it just by typing
"I lost my phone" in the Google search field.
