ZTE Corporation officially unveils Axon 7. This smartphone
will make its debut in the Chinese first, and then followed in the United
States, Europe, and other regions. According to ZTE, the device is designed for
users who want to enjoy life intelligently companied with technology,
emphasizing the most important aspects for consumers.
This device has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display at 2560 ×
1440-pixel with 7,9mm thickness. To design this device, ZTE works together with
Designworks team, a subsidiary of the BMW Group. But not only the appearance,
ZTE and Designworks want to make the interaction process between the user and
the device feels intuitive and simple. They also put a fingerprint scanner at
the back.
Another interesting feature of Axon 7 can see from the
efforts of ZTE to bring two audio chips: AK4961 and AK4490 from AKM, so that
the device can deliver hi-fi class voice; assisted by double speakers and Dolby
Atmos surround system. In addition to enjoying the music, these capabilities
will help the user in navigation. Not only focus on playback, the mic component
is also quite sophisticated, it's able to record sound at a distance of up to
eight meters from the device.
For photography, ZTE brings the functions of a DSLR camera, ensuring
fast and accurate shooting, and also minimal noise. The 20-megapixel sensor and
f/1.8 lens promise a high quality image. It's also helped by dual image
stabilization technology, 'advanced auto focus', exposure configuration, scene
selection, and white balance.
The launch of Axon 7 is also coupled with the announcement
of ZTE VR, which is sold separately (about US $ 80). It is designed to take
advantage of the audio capabilities (hi-fi and speakers) as well as the 2K
screen of Axon 7 optimally.
ZTE Axon 7 is available in three variants: Basic edition,
Standard and Premium, Axon 7 carries the Snapdragon 820 SoC, 2,15GHz quad-core
processor and Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of internal
memory, 3.250mAh battery which is equipped with Quick charge 3.0, and runs on
the Android 6.0-based MiFavor4.0. ZTE Axon 7 is offered at the price of $ 450
up to $ 625.
