Adonit releases Pixel to accommodate more Apple iPad devices

When asked about the best stylus for the iPad, perhaps most of people will say Apple Pencil. The reason is simple, because the Pencil is an official accessory of Apple, and its technology is quite sophisticated. However, there is still one thing to remember: Pencil is only compatible with two models of iPad Pro.

So if your iPad doesn't mention the word of "Pro", then Pencil can't be an option. This is where Adonit wants to fill the void through its latest stylus, Pixel. Pixel is compatible with 8 iPad models at once - but you can also use it with iPhone SE if you like.

But compatibility alone is certainly not enough to attract the attention of iPad stylus enthusiasts. Adonit Pixel has a pointed end, about 1.9 mm, to provide a high level of precision. Pixel is basically the successor of the Jot Touch which is the mainstay stylus of Adonit for quite long time.

Just like the Jot Touch, Pixel also uses Bluetooth connectivity. Pixel can present a number of features such as pressure sensitivity and palm rejection up to 2048 levels - the harder you press the stylus when drawing a line on the screen, the thicker the line, and vice versa.

Another advantage of Pixel compared to Apple Pencil is a pair of shortcut keys. In some applications, this button can be used to access functions such as eraser, undo and others.

Pixel is also equipped with a grip sensor so that it is automatically activated when the user holds it. Instead, once laid out for a while, Pixel will automatically shut off to conserve battery power.

Furthermore, Adonit Pixel is also cheaper than Apple Pencil, only $ 80. It is available in two colors: black or copper.
