Just about one month after introducing a new design for its
iOS and Android apps, Telegram now launches a feature that can make its users
smile: i.e. a message editing feature.
So basically starting today Telegram users can say goodbye
to the typo. All messages that have been sent, either in a group or one on one
conversation, the contents can be edited. The messages that have been edited
will be given a small label of "edited" so that the interlocutors
will know which ones that have been changed.
How to edit the messages in the Telegram is also very
simple. Users only need to touch and hold the message balloon that will be
edited, then tap "Edit" button. For the users of Telegram desktop
version, the edit feature can be accessed by pressing the up arrow key on the
keyboard to edit the messages.
The latest update of Telegram also presents update on
Mention feature, where users can now call anyone in the group, even those who
don't have a username. Looking for a conversation with someone is also easier
with a list of other users who have recently contacted on the search field.
Telegram also facilitates the access to inline bot. Users
can now open the attachment menu and choose one of the bots that are available.
The more you use the bot, the higher its position will be at the attachment
menu.
And specifically to the Telegram iOS version, the app now
will remember the last position in the conversation, so that when you return to
the conversation, you will not 'lose the track'. Further, when you slide the
screen up, a new button will appear to return to the last position in the
conversation.
