Good news comes for the owners of DJI drones who love live streaming. After Facebook announced support for DJI drones at its live streaming platform, now Periscope reveals similar promise.
Explained through its official blog, in the next few weeks
the owners of DJI drones can broadcast their video recording live to Periscope
with the help of iPhone. Basically it works like the support of GoPro that has
been introduced last January where the users can easily replace the camera view
of iPhone, GoPro, and soon DJI drones.
While the video is broadcasted live, users can add narration
from the iPhone, and also make graffiti by using Sketching feature that has
been tested and launched in last April.
At the same time, Periscope also announces that all videos
uploaded to its platform will be stored permanently, including comments and
likes obtained by each video. From there, users can search and watch videos
that have been uploaded by other users based on topics that are represented by
a particular hashtag such as #Music, #Food, #Travel and others.
This search feature will facilitate users to find specific
types of live videos that capture their attention. Periscope will also
introduce special topics such as "GoPros and Drones" and "First
Scope" to ease the content search.
Broadcast from a bird's eye view with drones! Available on iOS soon.https://t.co/J3GfdW4JRX— Periscope (@periscopeco) May 9, 2016
