Send Dropbox files can now be done through Facebook Messenger

Send Dropbox in Facebook Messenger

Through Facebook Messenger, Facebook as one of the largest social networks today wants to manage all users’ daily communication to take place in one central place. Start from greeting an old friend to share good moments with family members, Facebook Messenger is ready to serve at any time.

In the context of sharing beautiful moments, either in the form of photographs, videos or other files, Facebook Messenger recently gets a feature that will delight the loyal users, i.e. the integration with Dropbox cloud storage service.

So now when you press the ‘More’ button (three dots icon) in iOS and Android, Dropbox will appear as one the options offered. As long as you have installed the Dropbox app on your device, you can instantly share any file stored in your account without having to leave Facebook Messenger at all.

The photos, videos and GIFs will immediately appear and be visible in the chat field. For other files, the recipient can simply touch the ‘Open’ button to open them in the Dropbox app and save the files if necessary.

This feature is now available in Messenger for iOS and Android, and don't forget to update your Dropbox app to the latest version.
