Air conditioning and air purifiers are two different
devices. But the leading electronic manufacturer, Dyson, seems to find the
right way to combine the two devices into a single device, coupled with
connectivity feature which makes it more relevant with the Internet of Things
era.
Named Dyson Pure Cool Link, physically it's not much different
from the fan without blades, but at the bottom you can see an air filter component
that will suck and clean-up nearly 100 percent of the air in the room, and then
release it back as fresh air.
Dyson Pure Cool Link also becomes the debut of Dyson in the
Internet of Things segment. It comes along with Android and iOS app. Through
the application, users can control the device from a distance, and also monitor
the performance of air purifier system since it's turned on.
As used, the collected data will be forwarded back to the
device, so that the air purifier system of Pure Cool Links can work more
optimally. In other words, the settings can be performed automatically, and the
users can enjoy the clean air in the room.
Dyson is also embedding automation feature, where Pure Cool
Link will automatically work more quiet at night. When the night mode is
active, the LED display will be dimmed so it won't disturb the users. Dyson
Pure Cool Link is now marketed in the United States in two size variants, with
a price of $ 500 for the large-sized tower variant.
