After presenting the integration of Gmail service, now Yahoo
Mail application is considered as one of the best email clients on Android and
iOS. Towards the end of January 2016, Yahoo has prepared significant updates.
In the latest version, the customization options are getting
complete by improving the gestures navigation. Previously, users had been able
to wipe to the left to delete the email, or to the right to indicate that the
emails have been read and vice versa.
But now the swipe feature is not limited only for deleting
or marking the mails. Through the settings menu, users can access the
"Swipe actions", then set the desired action for each swipe gesture;
for example giving a star, marking a spam, move to another folder, and many
other actions. The swipe gesture customization feature is available on Android
and iOS platforms.
Furthermore, especially for the Android version, Yahoo Mail
app now has supported interactive notification feature. This means that users
can act quickly to an incoming email without having to open the application
first. For example there is an incoming email when you are busy; you can
directly touch the "Star" on the notification in order not to forget
to read it later.
For the iOS version, Yahoo has updated the attachment system
so that users can find and re-send the attachments they received easily, both
for the photos and various types of documents. On it, there is also a search
box so that users won't get difficulty to find certain attachment file.
The new feature of Yahoo Email app can be enjoyed by
downloading the latest version through the App Store or Google Play.
