Ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, Asus releases
two new tablet devices called ASUS ZenPad M. These tablet devices come with
additional software called ADAM. ADAM stands for ASUS Device Admin for Mobile;
this application will set up and manage the ASUS tablet devices to be
customized to the users' business environment.
ADAM application comes with a number of features that allow
users to be able to operate the tablet devices from a distance, such as the
ability to install, remove and update applications remotely. Not only that,
ADAM also can lock, delete data, or even take a screenshot from the tablet remotely.
Previously all the above features were available separately,
now ASUS has bundled all of these capabilities in an application that they call
with ADAM.
The interesting point of Asus M is the possibility of the
device to be used in supporting the businessmen's activities. For example, it
can be used by the stall owners and becomes a kind of Point of Sales, besides
that, it can also be a control over devices that can only be used for work.
There are APIs or application program interface that can be used by developers
to create POS applications as needed.
For demo and explanation, you can take a look at the video

Currently, there are two ASUS tablet devices that have been
equipped with ADAM software: ZenPad M with a 7-inch screen and ZenPad M with a
10-inch screen. The detailed specifications of the two devices are not yet
available, but reportedly ASUS will bring both the tablet devices to the MWC
2016 event.
