Most projectors are still
dependent on other devices as a source of content. Therefore, the idea of a
smart projector is born, which can basically play content independently due to
the presence of storage media.
Smart projector itself is not a
new innovation, including those that are powered by the Android operating
system. Even so, the JmGO View smart projector looks different because of its
beautiful design.
This is probably the first time
you heard the name of JmGO, whereas this Chinese company has been experienced
in designing projectors for quite long. JmGO View is packed in the disc-shaped
aluminum body. Its side is dominated by the speaker, while the upper part is
decorated only by on / off button.
In addition to have attractive
design, JmGO View is also equipped with qualified specification: Texas
Instruments' DLP chipset, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and Android 4.4 OS.
The Images can be projected in a
resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with a maximum size of 180 inches. The contrast
ratio stands at 1000: 1, while its level of brightness is 250 lumens, and has
supported the 3D mode. JmGO also creates a smartphone application so that user
has an alternative other than the included remote control.
According to the plan, JmGO will
showcase this new projector at CES 2016, and then it will hold a crowdfunding
campaign on Indiegogo from 1 February.
