In November, Hewlett-Packard reportedly wanted to work
together with Titan, the largest watch manufacturer in India to provide a
solution to the shortage of smartwatch. They wanted to make the users feel
confidence to use the smartwatch without having to choose between performance
or technology.
Finally the two companies unveil their collaboration result,
a smartwatch named Titan Juxt. It is a fusion of classic design and modern
technology. Titan Juxt is the third smartwatch where HP also participated,
after Movado Bold Motion and Michael Bastian.
Juxt looks almost the same with the timeless timepiece; it's
utilizing needles and analog system. The frame consists of three components,
and the indentation is given to fit with each type of hand. Its body is made of
stainless steel material, and the glass is using mineral type. You are offered
with remborde leather strap, and hypoallergenic strap.
Titan Juxt has 5-atmosphere waterproof structure: it's
resistant to splashes and rain, can be worn when bathing, swimming and
snorkeling. 5-ATM also means it's resistant to water pressure up to a depth of
50 meters.
There is a monochromatic OLED display square in the middle
of Juxt. It displays meeting schedules, calendar; and brings up notification
messages, incoming call or a social media app. In order not to block the view
to the display, the needles use 'skeletal' design. Juxt is also equipped with
activity tracker features to track the number of steps and user's daily target.
The Movado Bold Motion, Michael Bastian, and Titan Juxt are
included in the family of Engineered by HP. They are compatible to the devices
which using iOS (8+) and Android (4.4+) platforms. The manufacturers are also
promising long lasting battery performance (the Titan website mentioned seven
days, while HP wrote five days).
Titan Juxt is offered at a very attractive price: depending
on the model, you can buy it at a price range of US $ 235 to US $ 240. The
pre-order has been opened through www.titan.co.in
