Nowadays there are a lot of monitors that are equipped with
super-thin bezel, but it seems no monitor that can rival the achievement of the
latest Asus monitor, Designo MX25AQ, because this monitor looks almost without
a frame.
The upper, the left, and the right sides of the screen only
have a thickness of 1mm, so that the screen will look full from corner to
corner. Its 25 inch screen is powered by IPS panel at a resolution of 2560 x
1440 pixels. This panel has a contrast ratio of 100,000,000: 1 and a viewing
angle of 178 degrees. Furthermore, it can also reproduce 100 percent of the
sRGB color spectrum, making it ideal for professional settings.
For entertainment purposes, the monitor is also equipped
with a pair of speakers diameter of 25 mm and a power of 3 watts. This speaker
is quite special because it's developed with Bang & Olufsen, so that the
sound reproduction can be maximized even if the power is quite limited.
For the gamers, Asus Designo MX25AQ also has prepared a
special feature named GamePlus, this is actually a special mode where the users
can tether crosshair or timer on the screen - this timer can help the
management time of RTS and MOBA gamers.
Asus also equips this monitor with a number of features that
have become the basic of modern standard, such as flicker-free technology and
blue-light filter so that users' eyes won't get tired when looking at the
screen in a long duration.
Asus Designo MX25AQ also carries a fairly comprehensive
connectivity features, such as MHL2.0/HDMI port, a pair of HDMI ports,
DisplayPort 1.2, and a jack for headphones. Then there are other interesting
features such as QuickFit Virtual Scale, which will display a preview of the actual
size of the image or document that will be printed.
In the UK, Asus Designo MX25AQ will be sold for £ 300.
Unfortunately there is still no information about availability in other
