Philips has just released two new smartphones at the same
time: Philips Sapphire S616 and Philips Sapphire Life V787.
According to Philips, both have new feature that's useful to
keep the eyes remain fresh and not easily get tired when watching at the screen
for a long time. That feature is called "anti-blue", the technology
that's developed by SoftBlue. It will reduce the blue light that's generated by
the screen of up to 86%, reduce the radiation and other adverse effects on
vision. Philips claims that this technology has never existed in any smartphone
before, only in Philips Sapphire S616 and Philips Sapphire Life V787.
First let's discuss about the Philips Sapphire S616 first.
This smartphone is equipped with 5.5-inch IPS screen at resolution of 1080 x
1920 pixels. Its performance is powered by MediaTek MT6753 chipset that consist
of octa-core processor and Mali-T720 GPU. It's also accompanied by 2GB RAM and
16GB internal memory.
To produce slick images, Philips provides a 13MP camera on
the back and 5MP in the front. Behind the back cover there is a battery with a
capacity of 3.00mAh. There is also support for 4G LTE and dual SIM. Philips
Sapphire S616 will be priced around $ 222 and can be found in China in this
November.
Moving into Philips Sapphire Life V787 which generally has
the same specs as the Sapphire S616, there are only a few components that
distinguish these two smartphone; Philips Sapphire Life V787 is equipped with
5.000mAh battery, and brings smaller screen, 5-inch screen with the same
resolution.
Unfortunately there is no information about the price of
Philips Sapphire Life V787. However, this smartphone can also be found in China
in this November.
