Panasonic again makes a breakthrough by introducing 2-in-1
tough laptop named ToughBook 20. From the name, this 10.1-inch laptop is
capable of working in difficult terrains.
Based on the explanation given through a press release,
Panasonic ToughBook 20 laptop is the first 2-in-1 tough laptop that's equipped
with a keyboard and a screen that can be removed. The design is designed to
support portability, where when the keyboard is removed, the device will be
transformed to be a tablet. It's resistant to extreme situations and tough
works.
Panasonic ToughBook 20 is waterproof (IP65), anti-dust, and
the display technology will still work despite receiving input from a gloved
finger. Panasonic also provides a rotatable kick-stand to give a solid support
and grip when the laptop is used outdoors.
Panasonic ToughBook 20 is orchestrated by Intel Core m5-6Y57
vPro processor with a TDP of only 4,5w; it means that this laptop not only
promises fast performance but also a good efficiency. This laptop also comes
with Intel HD Graphics 51 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, and the Windows 10 Pro OS.
Especially for the operating system, Panasonic offers the option of Windows 7
Professional if the customer wants it.
Improving all the excellent capabilities, Panasonic also
adds a backlit keyboard that can be used in dark conditions, although the
laptop screen has supported the on-screen keyboard as an alternative. At the
rear there is a battery with a capacity of 2600mAh.
Interestingly, Panasonic ToughBook 20 also offers additional
options such as GPS and 4G LTE, in addition to the SmartCard technology,
magstripe and barcode reader. And if the user requires security feature,
Panasonic offers a fingerprint scanner to be added.
Panasonic Toughbook 20 will be available in February 2016 in
the authorized Panasonic resellers with the price starts from $ 3,099.
