Compared to the other to-do list applications, the superiority
of Wunderlist is its availability on almost all platforms. However, since it's
acquired by Microsoft in June, it can be understood if this service now makes
Windows 10 as its main focus.
The hard work of Wunderlist team finally pays off; its
application for Windows 10 eventually can be downloaded by public. Wunderlist
for Windows 10 brings a number of advantages, including new design and Cortana
integration.
Speaking of design, Wunderlist display now looks much more
modern. The UI relies on high-contrast theme that's similar to Windows 10's
aesthetic. But the new look is designed not only for sweetening, but also to
make the content can be seen comfortably and easily.
Wunderlist also supports Live Tiles feature, where users
have the option to "Pin to Start" on the tasks that are considered
top priority.
But the most interesting update is the integration of
Cortana. Microsoft's virtual assistant can now help you to organize all the
tasks in the Wunderlist from anywhere.
For example when you suddenly have a brilliant idea for a
project you're working, you can directly call Cortana to keep it in Wunderlist.
The pattern like this: "Hey Cortana, add (insert your idea here) to
Wunderlist."
After that, you can find it in the Inbox to be moved to
another category or add another note. At the same time, the instruction of
"Hey Cortana, show me my Wunderlist todos due today," will show all
the work you need to accomplish at that day.
Wunderlist for Windows 10 now can be obtained directly
through the Windows Store. Going forward, Microsoft has promised to present the
Wunderlist for Windows 10 mobile version, make it as a true universal to-do
list application.
