Lumia 550, an affordable smartphone from Microsoft

After revealing two flagship smartphones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, in the same occasion Microsoft also introduced Lumia 550 that's priced at a lower price.

Microsoft Lumia 550 is a smartphone that's powered by Windows 10 Mobile but is priced at an affordable price, possibility this smartphone is intended for the developing markets later.

Lumia 550 is powered by Snapdragon 210 chipset which brings 1,1GHz quad-core processor. With the predicate as an affordable smartphone, this specification may be considered reasonable.

Lumia 550 brings 4.7-inch screen, with HD 720p resolution and a pixel density of 315ppi. This smartphone is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The screen technology in the Lumia 550 represents the best features of Microsoft, although not the most complete, such as Orientation sensor, Sunlight readability enhancements, Lumia Color profile, Wide viewing angles and automatic brightness control.

The internal specification of Lumia 550 is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. If it is still not enough, users can add external memory up to 200GB.

As a complement, this smartphone also provides a variety of connectivity options such as Nano SIM, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, and of course 4G LTE. Lumia 550 is powered by 2.100mAh battery.

According to the plan the Lumia 550 will be released in December throughout Europe with a price of $ 139.99 in some cool colors.
