It turns out that the Taiwanese vendor, HTC, is still
producing a mobile device which brings M9 nuances. This device is named HTC One M9e where its design is not far from other M9 variants. Fortunately, despite
competing in the middle-class market, HTC One M9e has a sufficient quality
because it's equipped with a 13MP OIS which previously can be found only in the
flagship devices.
HTC One M9e is said as the reincarnation of the One M9, it
seems this is the only hope of HTC to prevent the extinction of HTC One M
Series by launching cheaper variant.
HTC One M9e promises good performance with the MediaTek
Mt6795T Helio X10 chipset. It has a capability to record a video in 2150 pixels
which's rarely found in other smartphones, but unfortunately the chipset is
paired only with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
In addition to borrowing the M9's aluminum design and
Boomsound speaker on the front, the HTC One M9e also adopts the screen size of
its predecessor, i.e. 5 inch screen at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. As a
complement to the main camera, HTC still embeds an UltraPixel camera on the
front for the needs of selfie and video calls.
HTC One M9e is sold in the range of $ 425 that's considered
quite expensive for the middle class smartphone.
