It has been a year since Xiaomi released its flagship
device. Although it's described as a successor of Mi 4, but the Mi 4i was
actually a 'downgrade' version of its predecessor. Then in late August, there
were rumors about Mi 4c which's reportedly bringing a number of updates from
the Mi 4i. And on September 22, 2015, this smartphone was officially launched
in China.
The producer from Beijing explains that through Mi 4c, they
are trying to improve the last achievement, this smartphone is claimed as a
special product that's composed of special components, and recently Xiaomi has
published lots of Mi 4c photos in MIUI forum page.
If viewed from the design, the appearance of Mi 4c looks
very synonymous with the Mi 4i. The LED flash along with the camera module are
placed at the upper left corner of the device's
back, and the speaker holes are positioned not far from the Mi logo.
Even the dimension of this device is still the same, 138 × 69.6 × 7,8mm.
Physically, the transition of the letter 'i' and 'c' may refer to the presence
of Type-C USB port.
Mi 4c presents 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen at a
resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (~441 ppi pixel density). Xiaomi gives interesting features such as
Sunlight Display, Night Reading mode, and adaptable refresh rate. Only by
tapping the side, you can access your photos. This smartphone also brings
13-megapixel camera on the back, and 5-megapixel camera on the front.
Mi 4c is supported by 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset which
carries quad-core 1,44GHzr Cortex-A53 processor and dual-core 1,82GHz
Cortex-A57 processor. This specification is combined with Adreno 418 GPU.
Meanwhile the RAM and memory capacity depend on the variant you choose: 2GB RAM
with 16GB internal storage, or 3GB RAM with 32GB flash memory. This smartphone
receives power from the 3.080mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 capability.
Accompanying the Mi 4c, Xiaomi also releases Mi Bluetooth
Speaker - presents 90dB output and playback for eight hours, it's powered by
build-in 1.500mAh battery via 36mm neodymium driver and a passive bass
radiator. It's formulated with portable concept for the audiophile. The outside
part of the speaker is made entirely of aluminum material, with rectangular
shape, but smaller than a pencil box.
Xiaomi Mi 4c is offered at 1,300 to 1,500 Yuan, or about US
$ 200 to US $ 235. And the Mi Bluetooth Speaker is priced at 200 Yuan, or about
US $ 31.
