Skype is always synonymous with a video call. However, under
the banner of Microsoft, Skype is slowly turning into a universal application
that offers a variety of ways to communicate.
In the development of messaging application, a new trend to
communicate is by giving moving pictures, aka GIF. This can be seen from
various GIF keyboard applications that are available for users in Google Play
and also App Store. Responding to this trend, Skype offers an interesting
alternative.
Skype recently introduces Skype Emojis. This is not a set of
emoji or GIF, but short video clips from various popular movies that can be
inserted and viewed directly in the chat field. The Moji collection is stored
neatly behind the emoticon buttons. Users can choose based on expression or a
movie, see the preview, and then send it to the interlocutors.
In developing Skype Mojis, Skype claims to have worked
closely with a number of renowned studios such as Universal, Disney, BBC and
others. This not only means that Skype Mojis has a variety of contents, but
there's no copyright infringement here.
As a debut, Skype Mojis packs a variety of video clips from
popular titles like Despicable Me, Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect, Jurassic Park,
The Muppets and others. Skype also plans to present more global contents.
If you use Skype, you can try this new feature through its
latest application update that's available in Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
