Some time ago, Skype introduced a new feature called Skype
Mojis, which's basically GIF alternative without copyright infringement. Now
this feature can be enjoyed by Android device users via Skype version 6.4
update.
Furthermore, this latest update apparently also carries a
feature that has been awaited by a lot of Skype users, i.e. the compatibility
with Android Wear smartwatch. Yes, with the Skype version 6.4, users can now
respond to the chat, or audio and video calls via the Android Wear smartwatch,
particularly Moto 360, Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane and Asus ZenWatch.
To reply the chat, Skype supports dictation feature that take
advantage of your voice. At the same time, you can reply with a number of
preset responses available. Or if you want you can draw a smiling face which
will then be transformed into emoji.
For incoming audio and video call, the users can accept or
reject it directly from the smartwatch without having to take the smartphone in
the pocket. Surely the smartwatch will only display the caller photo and voice,
you still need a smartphone if you want to talk face to face.
Basically, the presence of Skype on Android Wear aims to
smooth the communication among users. If you are interested you can get Skype
version 6.4 through Google Play.
