Along with the introduction of Nexus 5X, Google also
announces other smartphone that still comes from Nexus family, it's named Nexus 6P. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are made by different manufacturers, Nexus 5X is
made by LG, while Nexus 6P is manufactured by Huawei.
Rumors about the collaboration between Huawei and Google to
create a new Nexus device had existed quite long , and since then a series of leaks
and rumors were accompanying Huawei until the last seconds of the Nexus 6P's
announcement .
Huawei has given its best efforts; it can be seen from the
design of Nexus 6P that looks neat and slim. The frame is made from solid metal
with a thickness of only 7,3mm and weighs 178 grams. If Nexus 5X packs 5.2 inch
screen, the Nexus 6P brings wider display with a 5.7 inch screen. This screen
is also more superior to the iPhone 6s Plus which is only about 5.5 inch.
Nexus 6P comes with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560
pixels or called as quad-HD resolution (QHD). The pixel density reaches 518ppi,
and is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 to protect the screen from scratches or
when falling from a height.
What's quite surprising is Huawei chooses to use Snapdragon
810v2.1. This is the latest version of the Snapdragon chipset that's claimed to
have better performance and doesn't lead to overheating which becomes major
problem in most smartphones. This chipset is combined with Adreno 430 GPU and
3GB RAM along with three internal memory options: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Nexus 6P offers very promising photographic capabilities.
This smartphone brings 12,3MP main camera with an aperture of f / 2.0 and IR
laser with the best focus capability. The Dual LED flash is also ready to use
when you need it. While at the front, Nexus 6P offers an 8MP camera which is a
huge leap if compared to Nexus 6 which only brought 2MP front camera.
Nexus 6P is powered by a battery capacity of 3450mAh and
runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. In addition, Nexus 6P is
also equipped with 4G LTE support, USB Type-C, a fingerprint sensor, dual
speakers on the front, 3 microphones, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2 × 2 MIMO,
Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, digital compass , WiFi, GPS GLONASS, and a number of
sensors.
