Smartphone with a stylish back cover seems to be a trend
these days, at least there are three classy smartphones that offer trendy back
cover as one of the main features: LG G4, Moto X Style and OnePlus 2.
The back cover is purely given for decorative aspect; and
it's offered with a wide variety of materials selections. Then what is the most
common material used as the back cover? A very popular material is of course
the skin, but wood also sounds appealing, as well as bamboo. And what’s about
denim? Yes, this is the target of Alcatel.
In the IFA 2015 event, this French brand introduced two
newest members of its middle class smartphone lines: Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star and Alcatel OneTouch Pop Up.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star looks more striking because
Alcatel offers it in various back cover choices, including one that's made from
denim. Yes, the same material that's used to make your jeans.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star packs 5 inch IPS 720p screen, a quad-core
processor, 1 GB RAM, and runs Android Lollipop operating system. Pop Star is
also equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera.
Remember, this smartphone is intended for the middle class segment.
Accompanying Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star is the Pop Up that
has a higher specification, including octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM and a 13
megapixel f/2.0 rear camera. The design also looks more premium thanks to the
combination of metal and glass. It comes in five interesting color choices, but
the back cover is not as radical as Pop Star. But, both of them have brought
the support for 4G/LTE network.
