In last July, ZUK Z1 smartphone had appeared and was
announced as a new device that's ready to enliven the smartphones segment.
Zuk Z1 smartphone is designed by a startup from China that
has been fully supported by Lenovo and a software company, 360, through funding
worth of US $ 409 million (only from 360). This huge funding makes the Zuk Z1
become a highlight and many people wait for its breakthrough.
August 11, Zuk Z1 smartphone has been officially released in
its home country, China. Zuk Z1 comes with a number of interesting features
such as 5.5 inch screen with Full-HD resolution (1080 × 1920 pixels), 4,100mAh
battery, 3GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.
Zuk Z1 smartphone is supported by 2.5GHZ Qualcomm's
Snapdragon 801chipset, which packs octa core ARM Cortex-A5 processor. In
addition there are Adreno 330 GPU and the fingerprint reader feature. This
smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
Zuk Z1 smartphone has dimension of 55.7 × 77.3 × 8.9mm and
weighs 175 grams. Additionally this device carries two cameras: a 13-megapixel
rear camera with Sony sensor (IMX214) and optical image stabilization (OIS), and
an 8 megapixel camera as the front camera.
Lenovo has equipped the ZUK Z1 with two Nano SIM card slots
so that this smartphone has the ability to connect with two operators at the
same time. It also has a USB Type-C 3.0
port.
On August 18, 2015, Zuk Z1 smartphone will be offered at a
price of CNY 1,799 and be marketed by using online sales in the Chinese market,
the same method that has been applied by Xiaomi. Unfortunately, there is no
infomation whether this smartphone will also be marketed outside China.
