It's not a secret that Samsung wants to create a new
smartwatch with round design. If you've ever seen Moto 360, you will get an
idea about the style of smartwatch that will be created by Samsung.
And at the end of Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+
presentation, Samsung played a short video that showcased its latest smartwatch
which will be named Samsung Gear S2. The teaser answered the questions about
the design and interface of Samsung's latest smartwatch.
Samsung Gear S2's specifications and price will be revealed
in detail at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany. There, Samsung will hold an event
on September 3, 2015. So, until the event is held, we can only guess the final
appearance of this round smartwach, and also its spec and capability.
From the previous rumors, many people believed that Samsung'
round smarwatch will use Tizen operating system, like its predecessor Gear S,
instead of Android Wear. Samsung also wanted this smartwatch to support the
applications of healthcare and sports activities, and the ability to connect to
all devices.
Slashgear summarized some information about components that
may be used by Samsung Gear 2, such as 1.56 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution
of 360 x 360 pixels, then the Exynos 3472 1.2GHz processor, Mali-400 MP4
graphics, 768MB RAM, 4GB memory, 250mAh battery, 3G and cellular support, WiFi
and also heartbeat sensor.
